The brush has two extraordinary functions. The nylon spikes have a round tip and are extra long, and gently stimulate the scalp and comb tangled hair. It feels divine on the scalp and stimulates the blood supply to the hair follicles which can improve hair growth. The hair follicle then opens and releases sebum (the hair's natural oil). The boar bristles absorb the oil and distribute the oil along the length of the hair, adding shine without being greasy.
